ObservershipsJackson International/Jackson Health System provides observership opportunities for practicing physicians. Observerships are available in Trauma, Neonatal, High Risk Obstetrics, Neurosurgery, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, and Oncology. Each observership is aimed to provide the newest information and protocols for treating patients in each of the specialties. Mentors will be from either of the medical schools as well as the Jackson based physicians. The length of the observerships has been developed with the practicing physician in mind. The observerships are available in 1 and 2 week sessions. Shorter observerships are available on request and the content will be focused to the need of the requesting physician. There is an application process. There are a total of 25 observerships available per year. This will be approved based on availability. |
